Rhinoplasty is one of the most common of all plastic surgery procedures. As an aesthetic goal, Rhinoplasty can enhance the appearance, prominence, and contour of the nose, thereby bringing increased balance to the facial features of the individual.

Rhinoplasty may involve:

• enhancing the height of the bridge of the nose

• altering the length or width of the nose

• changing the tip of the nose

• narrowing the span of the nostrils

• changing the angle between the nose and the upper lip.

• removing a large hump to change the bridge in the nose

The procedure involves incisions carried out inside the nostrils or at the base of the nose. When Rhinoplasty is performed from inside the nose, there is no visible scarring at all.

This procedure usually requires two hours and will be performed under local or general anesthesia on an outpatient basis.
